A cooperative

Assembling the best team to build Cardano Node.

HaskellNode is a worker-owned cooperative dedicated to a single mission: shipping the strongest possible implementation of the Cardano Node. We pool engineering talent, share the work, and share the upside.

The only qualification required is to love Cardano.

What the cooperative does

Build the Node

We contribute directly to the Haskell codebase that runs the Cardano network — consensus, ledger, networking, cryptography, and the plumbing that holds them together.

Train the next maintainers

Cardano Node is one of the most ambitious Haskell programs in production. We pair newcomers with veterans so the knowledge keeps spreading instead of bottlenecking on a handful of people.

Share the work, share the upside

Members own the cooperative. Grants, contracts, and bounties are pooled and distributed by transparent rules the members write together.

How we work

  • Open by default. Every patch, every design note, every meeting summary lands in public.
  • One mission, many roles. Haskell engineers, protocol researchers, SPOs, ops, docs, designers — all in service of the Node.
  • Mentorship is the job. Senior members are expected to spend real time bringing new contributors up to speed on the codebase.
  • Cardano-aligned governance. Decisions follow the spirit of the Cardano Constitution: transparent, accountable, and rooted in the community.

Join the cooperative

You don't need a PhD. You don't need ten years of Haskell. You don't need a CV that fits a recruiter's filter.

You need to love Cardano.

If that's you — whether you write Haskell every day or you've never touched it, whether you run a stake pool or you're just learning what one is — there's a seat at the table.
